Reference Requirements

Challenge

Development teams work with outdated requirements? Product Managers modify priorities based on market reconnaissance and do not know who must be informed? To finally release a product, the test team needs to first search for the approved revision of the requirement specification?

Solution

When loading a ReqIF file from any authoring system into the ReqIF Server, every information element gets a permanent web-address without further setup. So, every diagram or requirement can be referenced from documents and many web-based tools.

For example, there is no need to copy requirements to a task- or test-management system - just set a link to its origin. Rather than distributing information to various destinations, you create a reference base for everybody - a 'single source of truth'.

The ReqIF Server is both a versatile and easy-to-use software product based on open standards. Being built using model-driven-software-development methods, it is of exceptionally high quality. The ReqIF Server is being developed and licensed by eXXcellent solutions GmbH, Ulm.
